Many government departments invite public feedback before implementing major projects, preparing development plans, or introducing new policies. However, many citizens are unaware of these consultation opportunities or don’t know how to share their views.

Have you ever participated in a public consultation, public hearing, or Gram Sabha meeting? What can be done to encourage greater public participation?

I faced the same confusion after graduation.

I made a list of my interests, strengths, and long-term goals before making a decision. Talking to seniors and professionals in the industry also helped me understand what each career path is really like.

Don’t rush into a decision just because everyone else is doing it.

I recently applied for a government service, and the process took much longer than the timeline mentioned. I had to visit the office multiple times just to get updates on my application.

I’m not saying this happens everywhere, but delays and lack of communication can be frustrating for citizens. I think every department should provide clear status updates and ensure services are delivered within the promised timeframe.
