I recently applied for a government service, and the process took much longer than the timeline mentioned. I had to visit the office multiple times just to get updates on my application.
I’m not saying this happens everywhere, but delays and lack of communication can be frustrating for citizens. I think every department should provide clear status updates and ensure services are delivered within the promised timeframe.
Has anyone else faced similar issues while dealing with public offices?
I believe most government employees are working sincerely, but administrative delays still occur due to workload or procedural issues.
Citizens should use official grievance portals whenever services are delayed instead of relying only on verbal complaints. A complaint with proper details and reference numbers is much easier for departments to track and resolve.
Greater transparency benefits both the public and government officials.
