Hazaribagh is known for its pleasant climate, forests, educational institutions, and growing urban development. Over the years, the district has also seen improvements in roads, healthcare, and commercial activity.

As the city continues to expand, I think it’s important to ensure that development goes hand in hand with protecting green spaces and improving public infrastructure.

What do you think should be Hazaribagh’s top priority for the coming years?

I attended a Gram Sabha meeting in my village where residents discussed priorities like road repairs, drinking water, and sanitation. It gave people an opportunity to raise concerns directly and suggest solutions.

I think public consultations become more effective when information is shared well in advance and meetings are held at convenient times. Encouraging participation from women, youth, and senior citizens can also help ensure that decisions reflect the needs of the entire community.

I co-founded a small digital marketing startup last year, and it’s been a rewarding experience.

In the beginning, finding clients was challenging, but networking events, startup communities, and social media helped us build our customer base. My advice is to validate your business idea first, start small, and focus on solving a real problem. Funding is important, but building a strong product and happy customers matters even more.

Traffic congestion has become a daily challenge in several parts of Ranchi, especially during office and school hours. Even short-distance travel now takes much longer than it used to.

Another issue is vehicles being parked along busy roads, which reduces the available road space and creates bottlenecks. I feel stricter enforcement and better parking facilities could make a big difference.

How is the traffic situation in your city?
