Bokaro has always been known as the Steel City of Jharkhand, but over the last few years we’ve also seen improvements in roads, education, healthcare, and commercial development.

I think the next focus should be attracting more IT companies and private industries so that local youth have more employment opportunities without leaving the district.

What development do you think Bokaro needs the most?

Absolutely. Transparency helps build public trust.

If basic details like the project’s objective, contractor name, estimated cost, work timeline, and completion status are available in one place, citizens can better understand how public projects are progressing. Regular updates can also encourage accountability and allow residents to report delays or quality concerns through the appropriate channels.

Open access to information benefits both the government and the public.

Every constituency has different priorities—some need better roads, others need improved healthcare, schools, drinking water, or street lighting. I think regular interaction between elected representatives and citizens can help identify these issues more effectively.

In your constituency, what development work would you like your MLA to prioritize?

There are several Central and State Government schemes available for students, farmers, women, entrepreneurs, senior citizens, and small businesses. However, many people are still unaware of the eligibility criteria or the application process.

Has anyone here benefited from a government scheme? It would be helpful if you could share your experience and how you applied.

I’ve been planning to launch a small AgriTech startup that connects local farmers with buyers through a digital platform. While I think Jharkhand has plenty of business opportunities, I’m still unsure about funding, mentorship, and finding the right ecosystem to grow.

For those who have started a business here, how has your experience been? Are there enough resources available for first-time entrepreneurs?

I recently attended an interview for a software support role. The interviewer asked more about my final-year project and how I would solve real workplace problems than about theoretical concepts.

Although I wasn’t selected, I realized the interview was a great learning experience. Every interview teaches you something new.

What has been your most memorable interview experience?

Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed that several roads in Ranchi are being repaired, but many stretches still become difficult to drive on after heavy rainfall. Some construction work has also been moving quite slowly.

I recently read that the Chief Minister has given officials a two-month deadline to speed up delayed road projects. Hopefully, this leads to better-quality roads instead of temporary patchwork.

Has anyone else noticed improvements or are the same issues continuing in your area?
