The district has talented students, reputed educational institutions, and a growing business community. Encouraging startups, improving public transport, expanding green spaces, and supporting MSMEs can help diversify the local economy while improving the quality of life.

Better civic infrastructure and investment in new industries would also create more employment opportunities for local youth.

I believe mining will continue to be one of Jharkhand’s biggest strengths, but it should go hand in hand with responsible development.

Modern mining technologies, proper land reclamation after mining, regular environmental monitoring, and skill development for local communities can make a significant difference. Mining companies should also invest in healthcare, education, and infrastructure around mining regions so that nearby communities benefit from development.
