The situation in Dhanbad is mixed.

Some major roads have improved over the last couple of years, but many internal colony roads still develop potholes every monsoon. During peak traffic hours, even short distances take much longer because damaged roads slow everything down.

I think the focus shouldn’t only be on building new highways but also maintaining existing roads regularly.
