Ramgarh has grown into an important industrial and commercial district because of its coal mining, cement industries, strategic location on major highways, and proximity to Ranchi. The district also has potential in logistics, tourism, and small businesses.

I think improving infrastructure while creating more employment opportunities for local youth should be the next priority.

What do you believe Ramgarh needs most for sustainable development?

I believe Ramgarh has a unique opportunity to grow beyond its industrial base.

Patratu Valley has become a popular tourist destination, and with better tourism infrastructure, local transport, hotels, restaurants, and recreational activities, it could create many jobs for local residents. At the same time, encouraging MSMEs, skill development, and better urban planning can help young people find opportunities closer to home.

A balanced approach that supports industry, tourism, and environmental conservation would benefit the entire district.
