Jharkhand’s location gives it a strategic advantage for transporting coal, steel, minerals, and manufactured goods across eastern and central India. However, efficient logistics is about more than just highways—it also depends on rail connectivity, warehousing, and last-mile transportation.
What improvements do you think would make Jharkhand a stronger logistics hub?
I believe improving multimodal logistics is the next big opportunity for the state.
With better industrial corridors, modern warehouses, integrated logistics parks, and smoother road-rail connectivity, businesses could reduce transportation costs and deliver goods more efficiently. This would not only benefit large industries but also help MSMEs, e-commerce companies, farmers, and local manufacturers reach new markets.
As investments continue in infrastructure, Jharkhand has the potential to become one of eastern India’s important logistics and supply chain centers.
