I recently visited a government hospital for a routine health check-up. The doctors and staff were supportive, but the waiting time was quite long due to the large number of patients.

Over the past few years, healthcare infrastructure has improved in many parts of Jharkhand, but I feel more doctors, diagnostic facilities, and better patient management are still needed, especially during peak hours.

How has your experience been with healthcare facilities in your area?

In Dhanbad, we have access to several hospitals, but during emergencies, waiting for specialist consultations can still take time.

Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs) should be strengthened so that people don’t have to travel to larger hospitals for every medical issue. This would also reduce the burden on district hospitals.
